Solids and Stripes Sneak Peak

I promised Chad I would make a quilt for him for his 30th birthday.  Well, his birthday has come and gone - but his quilt is almost done!  It has been basted (see photo below just before basting) and I have the thread and quilting pattern picked out.  Hopefully within a week or so it will be on to the binding!  I think it's turning out pretty well so far.  What do you think?
