Fun Fabric Friday: 03/18/2011

I was recently browsing on Hawthorn Threads and I found Joel Dewberry's new fabric line called Aviary 2. I adore his recent lines (Deer Valley and Modern Meadow especially). I first saw his fabrics at Spool, in Philly. Laura made a beautiful quilt using Deer Valley. You can see a photo on flickr here. Ever since then I've wanted to do something similar, so I think Aviary 2 might provide the perfect inspiration. Here's a photo from fatquartershop.com:
